My many years of working with leadership and collaboration in organizations have shown me one thing above all: Development begins with curiosity—and with the willingness to continually question one’s own beliefs. Those who are not willing to do so run the risk of becoming complacent in familiar perspectives and losing sight of new possibilities.

Coming from an academic background, I therefore do not view consulting as the imparting of definitive truths. New insights shift perspectives, open up new avenues for action, and lead to questions that require new answers.

This approach has shaped my work since I co-founded 5P Consulting—in leadership development as well as in personnel diagnostics and coaching. In doing so, I never view people in isolation from their environment: leadership, behavior, and development always emerge through interaction with others and within specific organizational contexts.

For me, consistently taking this context into account is the key to enabling genuine development—development that not only resonates on an individual level but also has a tangible impact in everyday work.
